Amazing Zombie Defense going for PC!

24 12 10 - 15:17 It just got accepted for PC distribution on a pretty new digital distribution service - Desura. Since the game already runs smoothly on Xbox 360, all I need to do adjust the user interface to use mouse, support various screen resolutions and it should be ready for release in a couple of days. You can check the game's profile here. It's going to be released at $3 since on PC market it's still one of lowest prices and I don't have to worry about Top Downloads list that much (on XBLIG you either stay on Top Downloads list or sell nothing). I'm not expecting to see great numbers, the service is not big yet - it just came out from beta stage, but I see potential for growth - it looks community oriented, and has got ModDB and IndieDB's support. Obviously I'd like to enter Steam and other big PC services like Impulse and D2D, but it looks that they're too big to care about games like mine. Desura might be the best opportunity I have to enter PC market.

Meanwhile I joined an artist who's working on a game that's already in development for two years - Oozi: Earth Adventure. It turned out that the previous programmer wasn't able to spend enough amount of time to get the game finished because of his day job. You can check the game's dev blog for progress updates.

Amazing Zombie Defense for WP7 is still in certification. I'll certainly write about it when it gets released.
